The Linux System Administrator Certificate program provides a thorough introduction to UNIX and Linux fundamentals as well as essential administration skills required to competently maintain a Linux system in a networked business environment. Students will also learn to create Bourne and Korn shell scripts and receive solid grounding in the X Window System.
Certificate programs include a week of individually focused project work to practice and integrate newly acquired skills. A curriculum coordinator will design a project for you that is appropriate for your skill level and personal interests.
Students wishing to opt out of first-level courses will be evaluated one-on-one by a technical instructor and must pass a place-out exam. Track price will be adjusted accordingly.
